Max lighting angle of WL-1 is become wider up to 85°. It was possible from December 1, 2011 as Microlight Co. started to apply a new powerful LED and to get more efficient elements of optical system for ZOOM illuminator WL-1.
Microlight Company is constantly taking care about MICROLIGHT product’s upgrades, so Research & Development Department is working on selection of the best high-efficient LEDs from suppliers. MICROLIGHT has been getting design changes at the request of the buyers of products. Microlight Co. improves manufacturing operations in the production processes and provides testing of the luminous efficiency of the upgraded illuminators.

WL-1 comes first in the line of white light MICROLIGHT’s illuminators and the only white light ZOOM illuminator with manual adjustment of the angle illumination. It could be adjusted by hands simultaneously with the power of light and the distance. WL-1 is able to replace a series of illuminators in the line of white light products. It is easy to construct any white light illuminator by turning a screwdriver on the back of WL-1. It may be set to any distance of the observed object, up to 210 meters or put at any lighting angle from 2 ° up to 85 ° and before upgrading the maximum angle of illumination was 60 °.
One turn of a screwdriver for manual adjustment changes the angle of illumination circa on 1 ° (see table above) and it is very useful during installation. For this feature WL-1 is called the multi purposed illuminator.
WL-1 is based on optical ZOOM technology of MICROLIGHT and made with the same case as IR-1 Helios – ZOOM IR illuminator which is the famous on CCTV market .

REFERENCE ABOUT ZOOM ILUMINATORS WL-1 & IR-1
• The latest series of ZOOM illuminators with IR-1, WL-1 opens new approaches to lighting of objects in CCTV and lighting for urban and architectural needs.
The basis of this series is manual adjustment of the angle and distance of the lights on the use of high-power optical lens. The cases of these projectors in the series are made of aluminum alloy and manufactured by extrusion method with high precision of internal elements of the case and bracket. This accuracy allows drawing of the effective “heat cooling star", on which a strong LED is put. The industrial design of housing and bracket is done with the expectation of future improvements in this series of illuminators for the implementation of more functions, which will be in demand at the market according to MICROLIGHT’s expectations.
IR illuminators of ZOOM series represent a new generation of devices for lighting and small power consumption in excess of the effective strength of the emission of light. Through the application of new technology and the using of only one LED developers were able to place inside device the universal power supply unit with voltage of 12 - 24 volt and direct or alternative currents. Using one LED in the series of IR illuminators Microlight’s designers considered it possible to apply the stabilization of the current in the power supply unit.
